Dhikala Day Visit Safari
Dhikala Day Visit Safari offers much thrill & adventurous ride inside Jim Corbett National Park where the richest variety of wild animals, Birds, Plants, trees & reptiles. The ultimate canter ride experience maximizes the chance of spotting the Royal Bengal Tiger roaming in their natural habitat. Though, day visit to Dhikala Zone is not allowed except in the Canter safari tour that is organized by the Corbett Tiger Reserve authority. If You travelling with family or friend and want to enjoy the jungle ride then 16 seater canter is the best & only option for a safari inside dhikala dense sal forest with lots of variety wildlife. Tourists willing to enjoy canter ride suppose to come at Ramnagar reception. The safari ride is for five hours in a given shift. Morning shift starts at around 06:00 Am while evening shift at around 11:30 Am. It is important to note that day Jeep safaris are not allowed inside Dhikala Tourism Zone. Tourists can make a booking request for canter safari in 30 days advance for Indian nationals and 90 days in advance for foreign nationals. In order to confirm your online safari booking, we shall require your personal information like name, age, and sex of all travelers and photo-identity proof along with the confirmatory amount. Please do not forget to carry the relevant photo-id in original for the verifications at the time of making entry to the park. Now 4 canters are allowed at one time to go inside the Dhikala Zone in a single time and 16 tourists can seat into one canter. Travellers are accompanied by expert naturalist and Driver. Canter Safari is steered twice a day. Tourists can travel into the Dhikala zone by a Canter with a maximum of 16 passengers and starts off from Ramnagar in the morning and afternoon. These tours are called as Ramganga Conducted Tour and allowed by the management of Jim Corbett National Park. The tourists can board the canter either at Ramnagar or Dhangari gate.
